By using Familycalendar you accept these terms. We keep them short and readable.

The service

Familycalendar is a shared family calendar accessible via a web browser, mobile, and via your native calendar app over CalDAV. It includes AI-assisted event input and WhatsApp control.

Account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit, for keeping your PIN confidential, and for actions taken in your calendar. You may not create an account in another person’s name without permission.

Acceptable use

• No unlawful or harmful use.
• No attempts to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or access controls.
• No spam, malware, or deliberately false information.
• No attempts to access other families’ data.

Your content

You retain all rights to the content you add. You grant us a limited licence to process and store that content solely to deliver the service to you. We do not use it for anything else.

Pricing

The service has a free tier. Any paid features and prices are shown before you confirm a subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance and you can cancel at any time.

Termination

You can delete your calendar at any time in settings. We may suspend or end your access if these terms are violated or we detect abuse.

No warranties

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, though we work hard to maintain availability and fix issues promptly.

Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to direct damages up to the total you paid us in the last 12 months. We are not liable for indirect damages to the extent permitted by mandatory law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. We try to resolve disputes by negotiation first. The consumer protection authority in your country of residence has jurisdiction where applicable.
